RAYBURN COLLEGE NATIONAL CADETS CORPS (SD & SW)

BRIEF HISTORY & INTRODUCTION
The Sub-Unit Rayburn College NCC (Senior Division) was raised in the year 2003 with the allotted/strength of 104 cadet under 14(Manipur)Bn. NCC Imphal, Imphal Group. In the year 2013 under 14(M)Bn NCC Imphal, permission for Girls Cadet was granted with 33% reserved for girls. The NCC cadets, besides receiving NCC training at the unit, serve as an organized work force in all college activities.

ENROLLMENT

The allotted/authorized strength of the NCC boys’ cadets in the college is 104. Motivational drives are regularly arranged at the beginning of the sessions to encourage and enroll students in NCC. Formerly, the NCC training was of three years, but from 2006 onwards it was made to two years while presently it is reverted back to three years in 2014. The regular supply of funds from the center has certainly helped in planning NCC activities. The enrollment scenario in the last five years is given below:
