MEDICAL INSPECTION (MI):
The Medical Inspection (MI), commonly known as ‘First Aid,’ is a valuable, life-saving service in the College. Its main objective is to provide immediate attention to a sick or injured person on the spot. MI seeks to prevent the situation from worsening while waiting for complete medical care.
The five main aims of first aid are to:
- Preserve life
- Prevent the escalation of illness or injury
- Enhance quick recovery
- Provide pain relief
- Protect the unconscious
