The Examination Committee deals with the college’s various examinations and oversees the specialty and specifications. The examination committee advises on all matters relevant to College examinations, including timetables, timing, content, and evaluation (internals and other) of exams.
Objectives:
The examination committee shall meet at least once in each academic term and perform the following duties, namely:
1. Organize and hold examinations to prepare for the internal and university practical and theory examinations per the academic calendar and university schedule.
2. To devise policy, mechanism, and operational strategies to do the tasks relating to the assessment of student’s performance efficiently and in a time-bound manner.
3. To ensure proper organization of the university, sessional and continuous in-semester examinations of the institute, including the appointment of examiners, internal squad, display of schedule, assessment, evaluation, and timely declaration of results.
4. To arrange for strict vigilance during examinations to avoid unfair means by the students, teachers, invigilators, supervisors, etc.
5. To undertake examination and evaluation reforms to make the examination and evaluation system more efficient.
6. It shall be obligatory for every teacher and non-teaching employee of the institute to render necessary assistance and service in respect of the examination of the institute.
