Webinar Series on Financial Literacy

Rayburn College successfully organized a Webinar Series on Financial Literacy aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of essential financial concepts and responsible money management. The initiative sought to equip students with practical knowledge of budgeting, saving, investing, and managing debt to help them make informed financial decisions in their personal and professional lives.

The webinar was conducted in collaboration with WX Consultants (P) Ltd. and emphasized empowering financially excluded individuals by promoting awareness and building financial capabilities. Participants were introduced to strategies for sound financial planning, understanding credit, and making informed investment choices.

The first session, held on 6th October 2025, focused on the theme “Introduction to Financial Planning”, conducted by Mr. Amey Vaze, Senior Certified Financial Planner and SEBI-Registered Investment Advisor from the National Stock Exchange of India, Mumbai.
The second session, organized on 15th October 2025, was facilitated by CA Anupkumar Mundada, Performance Analyst–Finance, BP Business Solution India Pvt. Ltd., and attended by students from the Zoology, Chemistry, and History departments.

The event was co-organized by the Skill Development & Placement Cell and the Department of Commerce, Rayburn College. The series provided participants with valuable insights into personal finance management and reflected the college’s commitment to nurturing financially responsible and well-informed individuals.
