Vande Mataram to Viksit Bharat

Rayburn College NCC (Army & Air Wing), NCC GP HQ Imphal, organised a special commemorative event titled “Vande Mataram to Viksit Bharat” to mark the 150th year of India’s National Song, Vande Mataram.

The programme was held to honour the historical importance of the song and to inspire young cadets and students to contribute towards the vision of a developed India.

The event celebrated the journey of Vande Mataram from its birth during the national freedom movement to its relevance in today’s mission of building a progressive and empowered nation.

The programme began with the ceremonial introduction highlighting the origin of Vande Mataram, written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, and its role in inspiring generations of freedom fighters.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment by the NCC cadets and the Rayburn College community to uphold the ideals of patriotism, integrity, and nation-building. The programme successfully instilled pride and reminded participants of their role in shaping the future of the country.
