Reels Making Competition Prize Distribution

Rayburn College’s Information Technology (IT) Centre organised an Inter-Departmental Reels Making Competition for PG and UG students based on the theme *”Inside Our Department; Your Journey Begins Here.”* Organised from April 30th to May 9th, 2025, the competition was meant to provide scope for creativity and depict departmental life through interesting short videos.

Reels were evaluated on creativity, theme, technicality, entertainment, promotion for departments, and engagement on Instagram. The Department of Commerce (UG) took 1st position, followed by the Department of Psychology (UG) at 2nd, and the Department of Zoology (UG) at 3rd.

The awarding ceremony was organized on the 19th of May, 2025. Ngaizakim (Director, SDPC) anchored the event, with his speech being delivered by Ginsianmuang Tombing (Organizer, IT Centre). Dr. Samuel G. Ngaihte (Registrar) gave away the prizes to the winners, while Mercy Chingnunhoih (Dean of Academics) gave out prizes to everyone who participated. The ceremony proved to be a good exhibition of student creativity and inter-departmental interaction.
