Rayburn College NCC at the National Integration Tour (NIT)

A youth delegation from Churachandpur district successfully completed a multi-city National Integration Tour held from 15–30 November 2025, organised by the Assam Rifles under Operation Sadbhavana. The delegation consisted of 22 students, including 12 Rayburn College NCC Cadets, marking a proud milestone as the college continues strengthening its leadership and national service culture. The group was accompanied by two teachers and Assam Rifles personnel throughout the journey.

The tour covered Jaipur, New Delhi, and Kolkata, providing students exposure to national heritage, governance and defence institutions. Key highlights included visits to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, National War Memorial, major military establishments, and landmark historical sites. Interactive sessions with senior officials of the Indian Armed Forces offered valuable insights into national security, defence careers, and the role of youth in building the nation.

The participation of Rayburn College NCC cadets added special significance, reinforcing values of discipline, unity, leadership, and service. The initiative has been widely appreciated by families, the community, and educational stakeholders, who recognise it as a meaningful opportunity that broadened horizons, strengthened national identity, and encouraged greater engagement with the country’s diverse cultural and institutional landscape.
