he Felicitation & Pipping Ceremony was held on 7th March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the college’s flag area. The programme began with a Guard of Honour presented by the NCC cadets and was compered by CUO Sari Laldinmawi.
The event started with a welcome speech by UO Catherine Hoingaihtieng, followed by a cultural dance performed by NCC cadets (JW, SD, SW). The highlight of the programme was the Pipping Ceremony conducted by the Principal and the Commandant of 36 Assam Rifles.
During the ceremony, the following officers were felicitated for their promotions:
• Lt. Liankhansuan Hauzel, Associate NCC Officer, Rayburn College – promoted to Captain (9 May 2025).
• Third Officer Niangthiansiam, Rayburn High School – promoted to Second Officer (31 October 2025).
•Emmanuel Lalneimawi Hmar, Care Taker Officer, 1(M) Air Squadron NCC Imphal – promoted to Flying Officer (26 December 2025).
The programme also included speeches by the Commandant of 36 Assam Rifles, the Vice Principal of Rayburn High School, and the Principal, Rayburn College.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by CUO Thangkhankhup, followed by the National Anthem and refreshments.
