Course Completion Programme for Basics of Python Programming (NSQF Level 3)

The Information Technology Centre of Rayburn College (Autonomous) successfully conducted the Course Completion Programme for the Basics of Python Programming (NSQF Level 3) on 9 April 2026. The programme marked the successful completion of the NSQF-aligned skill development course aimed at equipping students with fundamental programming knowledge and practical coding skills using Python.

As part of the course completion process, all students appeared for both the Theory Examination and the Practical Examination to assess their understanding of the concepts and their ability to apply programming skills in real-world scenarios. The theory examination evaluated students' knowledge of Python fundamentals, including data types, operators, control statements, functions, data structures, file handling, and basic programming concepts. The practical examination assessed students' coding proficiency through hands-on programming tasks, problem-solving exercises, and program execution.

Throughout the training, students received extensive hands-on instruction in Python programming, enabling them to develop computational thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum emphasized practical learning through coding exercises, assignments, and mini-projects, ensuring that learners gained confidence in writing, debugging, and executing Python programs independently.

The Course Completion Programme commenced with a brief address by Mr. Ginsianmuang Tombing, IT-Manager who congratulated the participants on successfully completing the course. They highlighted the growing demand for Python programming skills across diverse fields such as software development, web applications, data science, artificial intelligence, automation, and cybersecurity. Students were encouraged to continue advancing their technical competencies by pursuing higher-level programming and emerging technology courses.

The successful completion of the Basics of Python Programming (NSQF Level 3) course reflects Rayburn College's commitment to promoting industry-relevant technical education, digital literacy, and skill development, preparing students with competencies that enhance their academic growth and future employability.
