Industrial visit to Ivyblue Minerals by Department of Chemistry

The industrial visit to Ivyblue Minerals was a highly successful and enriching experience, driven by the enthusiasm of the students and the dedication of the faculty. The visit perfectly bridged the gap between theoretical learning and practical applications through immersive, hands-on learning allowed by the generous proprietor and the demo and teaching from the chemical laboratory staff.

This visit will enhanced the research mindset & higher education in relation to theoretical learning being applied in the real industry. Students follow standard PPE by wearing a Lab coat in clean Rooms, Hairnet & facemask, removed shoes to avoid contamination. Students are divided into three groups, students rotated through specialized sessions covering water testing and analysis, RO plant treatment, and plastic bottle manufacturing guided by the industry experts accompanied by the respective faculty guide faculty guide from the college. In the chemistry lab, staff taught them the precise mechanics of water testing, while other stations provided direct exposure to bottle washing, packaging, and the plastic manufacturing unit, and the other group engaged with the RO Plant. The warmth of Ivyblue Minerals was felt throughout the day, from their heartfelt teaching to the welcoming refreshments provided. To express sincere gratitude for this wonderful educational experience, the Department of Chemistry purchased Ivyblue mineral water bottles as a token of appreciation.

The Department also thank the College for providing necessary transportation & financial assistance for their students.
