Board of Studies (School of Physical & Life Science) Meeting

The Board of Studies (School of Physical & Life Science) of Rayburn College (Autonomous) convened its meeting on 15th July, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zoology Laboratory. The meeting was attended by faculty members from the various science departments to deliberate on important academic and administrative matters.

The meeting commenced with the election of the office bearers of the Board of Studies. Following the election, Mr. Isaac Chuongthanglien was elected as Chairperson, Mr. Zenhoihmuan as Vice-Chairperson, Ms. Thanghmingliani as Secretary, Mr. Jeremy Samuel Gangte as Assistant Secretary, and Ms. Nemhoiting Vaiphei as Finance-cum-Treasurer. Additional board members were also nominated to serve on the committee.

During the meeting, the members reviewed and approved the syllabus and semester activity plans submitted by all the science departments. The newly elected office bearers officially assumed their responsibilities with immediate effect from 15th July, 2026, marking the beginning of the new Board's tenure. The meeting concluded with a commitment to ensuring effective academic planning and quality enhancement across the School of Physical & Life Science.
