
Rayburn College (Autonomous) observed Safer Internet Day on 10th February, 2026, under the theme “Smart Tech, Safe Choices: Exploring the Safe and Responsible Use of AI.” The program was organized by the IT Department, Rayburn College and coordinated by Ginsianmuang Tombing, ICT Incharge. Around 70 students actively participated in the event.
The session emphasized the importance of safe internet practices, digital responsibility, and awareness of cyber threats. It also highlighted the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in daily life and the need to use it ethically and responsibly. The program included interactive discussions that engaged students and enhanced their understanding of online safety.
The event concluded successfully, reinforcing the importance of being responsible and informed digital users.
