Three years after its inception in 2023, Rayburn College's Air Wing NCC cadets are finally taking to the skies at the North Eastern Region (NER) Flying Camp, Dimapur. This is a historic moment for them as the cadets have so far been unable to undertake any practical flying lessons in Manipur due to the conflict. This opportunity in the camp in Nagaland symbolises their unwavering commitment to training and disciplined unity to push towards their aspirations.
The training period in the Flying Camp is for 10 days and began on the 5th of January 2026 till the 14th of January 2026. The cadets have been exposed to lessons such as learning about flying Microlight Aircraft, Aeromodelling and the theory and practical applications of Drones. It has truly been an incredible opportunity and exposure for the cadets in every sense.
Jai Hind.
