An Interaction Session with Rayburn NCC Alumni was organized on 13th December 2025 to motivate and guide NCC cadets, featuring Lt. Col. Muan Phiamphu (Rayburn NCC, 2003 batch) and Thangkhohao (Rayburn NCC, 2011 batch), currently serving as a Special Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army.
The programme aimed to inspire cadets by sharing real-life experiences from the armed forces and highlighting the role of NCC in shaping discipline, leadership, and patriotism. Lt. Col. Muan Phiamphu spoke about his NCC journey at Rayburn and how it laid a strong foundation for his career in the Army. He emphasized the importance of hard work, integrity, physical fitness, and mental resilience.
Special Commissioned Officer Thangkhohao shared his experiences from training and service, motivating cadets to remain focused, committed, and goal-oriented. He encouraged cadets to utilize NCC training as a stepping stone towards careers in the armed forces and other uniformed services.
The session was highly interactive, with cadets actively participating in the question-and-answer segment, seeking guidance on defence career options, selection procedures, and personal development. The alumni also stressed the values of Unity and Discipline, leadership, and service to the nation.
