150th Anniversary of “Vande Mataram”

Rayburn College NCC (Army and Air Force Wings) actively participated in the Pipe Band and Jazz Band performance organised at Peace Ground, Churachandpur, on 22 January 2026 at 10:00 hours. The programme was conducted on the theme “Vande Mataram” to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song “Vande Mataram,” with the objective of fostering national pride, patriotism, and unity among citizens.

The event featured impressive musical performances by the Pipe Band and Jazz Band, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere. The soulful and energetic renditions of national and inspirational tunes highlighted the historical and emotional significance of “Vande Mataram” in India’s freedom struggle and nation-building journey.

The NCC cadets of Rayburn College demonstrated discipline, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of national spirit throughout the programme. Their active involvement added dignity to the occasion and reflected the NCC’s commitment to promoting unity, cultural values, and national integration.
